Almost 3 decades ago, Thomas Norman obeyed the Gospel at the 38th Street church of Christ in San Diego, California. He has successfully completed various certificate Bible courses and has been a student under such ministers as Clay Williams, Marcus Oaks, and Lomes Pierce; it was Clay Williams’ preaching that convinced him to obey the Gospel of Christ.
Among other duties as one of the Grand Avenue church leaders, Brother Norman is also the Congregation’s Education Minister and authors most of the articles that appear in the congregation’s weekly bulletin. Brother Norman loves teaching Bible classes at the church building, house to house, and over the phone.
Sam, as he is affectionately known by his priceless friend and minister, Lomes Pierce, is an ex-military man; currently works at the 32nd Street Naval Base, in San Diego, CA, and is very attentive of his darling mother. He has a very loving daughter, son-in-law, and grand daughter who all attend the West End coC, in Atlanta, GA.
